1. What is a photo slideshow?
Photoflutter slide shows are a collection of your photos with a musical accompaniment, complete with pan and zoom effects that give your digital photos a movie like feel. They are presented in DVD format as a unique gift for your friends, family, and loved ones on any occasion - weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, newborn baby, pet albums.

2. What is included in the price of my slideshow?
We offer 3 types of slideshow packages and each one contains different features such as photo enhancement, color correction, cropping, brightening, special photo effects, restoration, red eye removal, etc. customized DVD menu, personalized DVD case liner and a laser printed DVD title.

3. How long will my slideshow take to complete?
Photoflutter will have your slideshow completed three to four weeks from the time we receive your photos. Complex or large orders may take longer. During the winter holiday season (December through January) and during the spring and early summer (graduation and wedding season), our turnaround time can be up to 28 business days. If you need your order completed and returned in less than 10 business days, please indicate while ordering. Extra rush charge will apply.

4. What is the playing time of a slideshow?
o100 photos = 6 to 8 minutes.
o150 -200 photos = 8 to 15 minutes.
o200-300 photos = 20 to 30 minutes.

5. How long will each photo appear on the screen?
Each photo will appear for between 5-10 seconds. 6 seconds is the average.
6. Are additional copies of my slideshow available?
Additional copies are available for a reduced price. All copies are presented exactly like the original - fully labeled and packaged.

7. Will the slideshow work in my DVD player?
We use the industry standard DVD+R or DVD-R format. Most DVD players and computer DVD systems manufactured within the past 3 years will play our slideshow DVD-R’s. We advise that you check your owners manual to determine if your model DVD player supports DVD+R or DVD-R.

8. Can I order a slideshow on VHS?
At this time Photoflutter only offers slideshows on DVD.
9. Can you scan all of my non-digital photos?
At this time Photoflutter only works with digital photos.

10. Can you fix my digital photos?
Depending on the package you choose, Photoflutter is able to digitally correct most minor flaws such as:
oRed-eye correction
oSlight blurriness
oColor / Tint imperfections
oBrightness / Contrast
oSmall amounts of lens dust
oMinor spots / Exposure
oFlash burn

11. Can you scan negatives and slides?
At this time Photoflutter only works with digital photographs. Depending on the demand we may offer this service in the future.

12. How do I send you my digital photos?
Simply drag and drop your selected images into the upload window that is presented after the payment process. If you would like to mail us your photos on a CD, please contact us for details.

13. What are the requirements for my digital photos?
We recommend sending digital photos in .JPG (jpeg) with a minimum size of 300 KB each. The larger the size, the better the resolution. We can also accept images in the following formats: GIF, BMP (Windows Bitmap), TIFF (Tagged Image), and PNG (Portable Network Graphics). If possible, please try to send the images in the order you wish to show them on the slideshow, or pre-number your photos in sequential order. If you do not specify the order of your photographs, we will sort them by date. However, while it takes extra time to organize your photographs, the final result will be more effective.

14. Will all of my original materials be returned to me?
If you decide to send us a CD containing your photos, the CD will be returned with the finished product. The photos that you upload to us will be kept on a secure server for 2 months after we receive them in case you wish to order copies of the slideshow. If you specify otherwise, they will be deleted from our server.

15. Can I choose my own music?
Yes. We encourage you to pick music that you would like to hear with your slideshow. Simply tell us either the song titles and / or the genre / era & Photoflutter will include them in your slideshow.

16. Can you suggest music for my slideshow?
If you can’t decide what type of music you would like, our slideshow designers will choose music for you.

17. Where do you get the background music?
All of our music is obtained and used legally. Photoflutter slideshows are not intended for public presentation; they are intended and created for private use only. Photoflutter will purchase your music for you through a legitimate online provider. Once the music is incorporated in your slideshow, we delete the files so that they cannot be used again. Under the Fair Use Provision of the music copyright laws, it is legal to use your purchased music, or music we purchase on your behalf, in creation of your customized DVD photo slideshows.

18. What if I want to add effects that aren’t in the package?
If you would like to add certain effects on some of your photos, please add a note in the comments form detailing what type of effect and on which photos. The prices for special effects other than what are in the packages are listed in the options form

19. What will the quality of the pictures be like on the slideshow?
The overall quality of the photographs affects greatly the outcome of the slideshow. A small image of less than 100kb @ 72 dpi will not be as defined as a 400kb @ 300dpi or a larger image. The quality of the original images and the camera used are also a factor in the final production.

20. What if I want to request changes or cancel the order?
If you require any changes to be made to the slideshow i.e. text, special effects or music, you must send an email no more than 24 hours after the order has been placed and we will be happy to make the requested changes to your slideshow. Cancellations must be sent no more than 24 hours after the order has been placed via email.
